This marks a significant increase over the standard Tiguan’s 201 hp and 207 lb-ft, achieved through enhancements such as a larger turbocharger, reduced compression ratio (10.5:1), reinforced pistons and connecting rods, and a nitrided crankshaft.

Power is seamlessly transmitted via an eight-speed automatic transmission, complemented by Volkswagen’s 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system, ensuring optimal traction and handling across various driving conditions.
