Volkswagen and What Is New For 2023 Model Year

Volkswagen has been busy lately! The world’s second largest automaker has refreshed of redesigned its lineup of eight core vehicles in the U.S. in the last two years, and is busy ramping up its production of its ID suite of battery electric vehicles, which includes the Volkswagen ID. AERO – their first ever all-electric sedan.
For the 2023 lineup, all vehicles come standard with VW’s digital instrument cluster, and every model comes standard with Volkswagen’s IQ. Drive suite of driver-assist technology that enables limited hands-free driving.
2023 Volkswagen Arteon
After the 2022 Arteon received a big power upgrade, the 2023 Arteon will now offer exterior additions on the base SE R-Line including adaptive LED headlights, fog lights, an illuminated light bar in the grille, and a power liftgate.
Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport
What we know so far about the 2023 Atlas Cross Sport is the midsize SUV will have a larger 8-inch touchscreen, synthetic leather seating surfaces, and a number of active safety features like rear cross-traffic alert and blind-spot monitoring.
2023 Volkswagen GTI and Golf R
After last year’s redesign, the 2023 Golf GTI adds LED headlights, LED foglights, as well as a 40th Anniversary Edition for the GTI and a 20th Anniversary Edition for the Golf R, which will be an exclusive special-edition model.
2023 Volkswagen ID.4
Volkswagen recently said that they will be launching a less expensive ID. 4 for 2023 and will be powered by a 62-kilowatt-hour battery. With that battery option, the price of the ID. 4 will drop significantly, bringing it well below $40,000.
“More details regarding the locally produced MY23 ID. 4 EV will be announced soon,” Volkswagen said in a statement.
2023 Volkswagen Taos
After the VW Taos made its debut last summer, the smallest crossover in the Volkswagen SUV lineup now comes standard with automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection and blind-spot monitors. AWD versions upgrade from 17-inch to 18-inch wheels and the SEL models will have a panoramic sunroof.
